hey guys
i have a few questions about using a DTR3400 and my mach1? as most of you know the DTR chips have no heat spreader on them like the molbile chips. my question is what would i have to do to get the clearnace right to make good contact with the chips core? since the heat spreader isnt on this chip there is going to be a gap where the heat spreader used to be will i be able to just add some washers to the bolts or will i have to remove some metrial from the under side of the top plastic frame that goes around the socket? i honestly dont see how the 64 mounting kit would be any differnt from the xp/barton kit as far as hieght goes? have any of you guys been able to work around this problem using a 64 DTR or molbile cpu with your mach unit? what do you guys recomend?
