Hello,
i want to update my i7 4770k to I9 9900K and which MB and RAM i should buy also i want to plug in my samsung 970 evo m2.

Thank you for your help :)

based on a lot of reading I've been doing, I woud actually avoid the ASUS RoG boards unless you are going for the Gene (MaTX) or the top of the range extreme. I've read that they have a sub par VRM for the price and I am saying this as an ASUS fan.

Apparently the Gigabyte Aurous Master and the AsRock Taichi ultimate are awesome boards if you have the cash to spare

I would get a compatible Z370 if there going cheaper than the Z390's and if you dont need intel usb 3.1 or Intel Wifi. Just make sure its got decent VRM's and a compatible bios. Currently running 9900k on a z370 maximus x hero available for 250euros compared to the Z390 Maximus XI Hero which is going for 350euros.

I have decided to switch up cpu from i9 9900k to I9 extreme version.Which one i should get I9 7960x or 9940x or Ryzen threadripper 2950x?I wanna change because I want to use Samsung NVMe SSD and i don't wanna lose half speed of gpu pcie.

In any case where you need Threadripper and can actually use it it will demolish anything Intel make value wise.

I've seen a lot of people who don't need it buy it, but if you can use it all? deffo go for it.

You also get a nicer, clearer upgrade path too.

Hehe, if you do go for Threadripper, it will be quite ironic due to your current username ^_^

What's the PC for? Threadripper makes sense in only very few use cases, same goes for high end Intels. Chances are a 2600 setup works perfectly fine.

You don't need HEDT for single GPU + single nVME.
