Hey guys,
So I've encountered some strange issues that I haven't experienced before and is so far to my knowledge not known to be resolved.
My ASUS Swift doesn't power up when my PC has gone to sleep mode, if I left it for a while and then power it back up. Pressing the power button off and on, doesn't do anything. It doesn't turn on unless I disconnect the power plug from the wall and then plug it back in. Then it wakes up.
And now I ordered an Dell S2716G monitor, and I just installed it last night, and whenever it goes black (sleeping I assume), it doesn't go up again. Despite my PC being still on and not gone to sleep.
Before I just moved my mouse and it would wake up. I am honestly really clueless why this is happening and how to presumebly fix it?.
Is there like a setting which I have forgot/not looked into that enables this or what?...
Edit: Just noticed that when powering off the Dell and powering it on again, it wakes up and a message "G-Sync module got connected". Can it be that my DisplayPort cable is going?...
Thanks,
Chrazey
