I must be in very lucky days.
Just got new Asrock p67 Extreme 6, as a replace for my asrock extreme 4 that was fully working.
Build the system and when push power button, nothing. Just a click from psu and not even post, boot, nothing. Got beeps from psu. Change the psu, same thing.
Ok, now is the most weird and scary part for me, some funny smell come from the vrms area . I dont have any idea what happend since i always build my systems and never came accross this kind of problem. Im positive that i didnt plug anything wrong or even short circuit since i was using rubber pins provided by an old asus mobo to test systems.
I am so worried with all system now. Psu(enermax 850w)tested jumping the pins was ok, the corsair 650w put back in the old system is working ok as well.GPU tested on the old PC, was fine. My fears are about my cpu and RAMs now. Sending back to retailer for a refund. Going to buy Asus Sabertooth now.
Its a pitty since this mobo have lots of features for a very good price.
