If a VRM explodes, and no-one takes a picture, has it still exploded?
If no-one was there, did it make a sound?
Is it even broken?!

I have the same issue with my internet connection at home. Got the fibre installed yesterday and now I'm waiting for the little light to change from red to green so I know I can access the net.

Alas I am at work for the next 6 hours so for now it exists in both realms. Connected. And Not.

Of course I know because it's Friday that it will not be working at all when I get home. Because. Weekends with no net...
