In the 3rd link, is it me or does one of the 6pin power looks lower than the other? Would be nice if they were level, hope Nvidia fix this on retail gpu's
its that way for a reason.. i it wasnt the pins that connect to the board would be on top of each other... making dual connectors pointless.. second reason making it easier to connect and disconnect. its a Minor eye soar that you wont see in 90% of causes beign the card is upside down.
as for the self overclocking... lol i was kinda expecting more then 50mhz lol its more like thats the actual base clock and it down clocks itself when not stressed.
So is this 680 a replacement for the 580 or 570? Cos in a few of those slides from way back there was mention of gk110 or something with 384 bit instead of 256. Will they e the 7 series then?? And ?
The Vidya best come out with something epic otherwise I'm going for AMD. The 40% better than the 7970 is a mean feat to try and pull off, I doubt they'll do it, plus a stock 680 at 2GB seems a bit of a joke .
You know I find it quite stupid that Nvidia would come and say that the reason that they are making this card coming out the 680 instead of the 670 is because they were disappointed with what AMD came out, seems kinda shady/weird to me. I am kinda disappointed if this is true that they would hold back on the new gen cards.
they will be when ever you hear initial rumors about a new nvidia card. its always 6 months after.I will be extremely shocked if you see the 690 in may
