Heres the story.

Im in summer school for gr12 english, and there are other classes, 11, 10 , 9 etc.. you know

A kid in grade 10 english, stabed somebody with a barbeque fork 7 times.

apparantly, dont no the full story, somebody had either stole his ciggaretes, or he stole it from the kid, but thats the basics of it

this kid is so cracked out, he was on cough syrup all of grade 9, and he is always cracked on coke or weed. apparently today he was sober so he was in an "angry" mood.

another kid at my school was being bullyed alot, (this happened last year) and he got fed up and chucked sciscors at the kid and it got stuck in his head.

what is goin on??

B4 this happens, I stick the kid in jail for a year and the parents/guardians for 6 months.

Next time it`s 2 years for the kid, and a year for the parent/guardians.

etc

`Normal` areas of society spend too much time and trouble messing about with things like this. I see it plain, u don`t want to conduct u`rself, u go away.

Away = square rooms with mattress and access to books, nothing else, perhaps a bucket. U want to eat, u work for it. U die - well that costs the rest of society less money. U act up inside, u get beaten or better still cattle-prodded.

Not enough cells, build more. Not enough land, buy Greenland off the Danes.

No I won`t get elected. But the truth of the matter is, there`s far too much stuff going on in the world for other people to have distractions like this.

i work in primary schools, i was being told the other week how 1 10 year old smashed a bottle and threatened another kid with it. Makes you wonder in some parents are fit to parent.

Many of them aren`t and they could give a damn, that`s why I lock them up too. Sterilize them on entry.

U smash a bottle over some1s head u should get charged with attempted manslaughter, and whatever sentence u get the parent/guardians get half.

man some people should not be able to breed.

I hate to say this but most of it lies with parents, my dad used to slipper or belt me when I was naughty, I'm twice the size if him now but he still gets my respect and I never swear in front of him (and I'm 33), this, even to this day, means I respect my elders, teachers or random people......

i'm 22 and let the odd swear word slip out, i try not to out of respect. My mum still has a go at me for it.

I wish they still had the cane when i was at school, i think i would of been able to get better results. I was bullied to the point of not going school.

wow story of my life right here..minus being 33, I'm 17. I do however swear in front of both my parents, just never directed at them.

I agree with everyones opinion on parenting.

I have full respect for my dad. There are times when we get angry at each other.. but heck, Im still only 15. :)

I think everyone is bullied to some extent and some more than others.

I was bullied at one point and I was like nathan... just didn't go to school. :p

So how are these kids? lol.. I have full respect for my parents, i swear occasionally when stubbing my toe or something lol.. But never at them. Parents, before they are allowed to 'raise a child' should be given a test, which has to be completed, both physical and mental to determine their capabilities, their caring'ness..

I personally agree with the parents above. Again, I don't think it's all about the parenting, but I think it is a major factor. That being said, I don't really agree with the whole cursing argument as I swear sort of a lot, around my parents, though I normally don't use any of the particularly bad ones, either way I still have a lot of respect for my parents and don't think that is a sign of their parenting.

I don't think peoples parents can be blamed for actions like these, there is noway to stop a child acting like that if they are mad enough to do things like above.

A child is a blank slate when it`s born, they turn into what u mold them into. If they give a damn, the parents will do the molding. If they did the molding and he turns out like this - they`re to blame. If they cba with the molding - they`re to blame again.

Anyway u look at it, a chilid is not a product of society, it`s a product of it`s upbringing.

Totally agreed. IMO the first 5-6 years are a child's life define what they are like for the rest of their life. During these few years they are like sponges, picking up everything that their parents say and do. If a parent continually swears, so will the child. If a child see's continual fighting between parents then it will adopt the same attitude.

All children are created equal as a blank canvas. Its up to the parents to either paint a masterpiece or just make a mess.

I agree with rast and XMS. They way a kid acts is totaly dependant on the parenting of the first few years. And where as the cursing, its all in the house hold really. My family (the 4 of us in this house) all cuss like sailors. At each other, and around each other. Then again, were all over 18 lol. And i have FULL and the utmost respect for my parents.

Yeah I think just about that time a sense of creating an identity of their own comes about, but it`ll only grow from the basis of where it starts.
