MKV files convert to MP4

Hi all I have files that are MKV but cant use them as my program doesn't allow MKV files is their a decent program that will let me use MKV or convert them cheers=00=

Media player classic, Home Cinema is exactly what you need to play them

I just use Klite codec pack on windows media player myself

I am running windows 7 there is a free codec pack called Klite Mega here is the download link then you will be able to play MKV files

Don't install that codec pack. it's gash, someone else on the forums was having trouble with that lately. It just isn't required anymore.

Just use MDP-HC, comes with everything you need.

be-that-as-it-may I still would advise against the codec packs these days, just not required. They screw around with too many things
