Mini-ITX Case that fits R9 270x & CX500m?

You won't regret that purchase :)

Added reassurance, sweet! xD

Just a last question - Are the 120mm fans that come with the Fractal Define Mini any good, or is it worth swapping them out for a higher quality model like a Corsair or BitFenix range?

They're pretty decent as stock case fans go but if you want the best combo I'd get some noctuas. Especially now they do them in that grey colour.

keep away from cx power supplies or similar

Why? What other psu would you suggest him? What other psu would you suggest to him. would you rather he went with thermaltake?

Corsair is very good when it comes to power supplies. CX is not a brand, its the series of corsair psu's

For thermaltake depends from powersupply to powersupply because different manufacturers. For CX, we know that some may blow up, especially higher wattage ones ( cx 600w is nutorius for the failure rates )
RM series isnt much better either.

I would recommend xfx ones, they have pretty cheap prices for the quality.

While a good quality powersupply is important you also need a company that won't mess around when it comes to RMA. XFX are awful at that. Suprised the cx series have "high failure rates" because I've not had one die on me yet and I've used them in several rigs :).

To be honest I'd go with Superflower over anyone else.

How about the Cool Master N200 or the Silencio 352. Both can house a h100i, 3x SSDs and HDDs and still include a 5.25 drive bay.
