Mini ITX Boards WITH on board Firewire.

Hello Chaps!

My question is.

Does anyone know of a mini ITX board that has on board firewire. It's how I connect my current audio interface and I can't seem to find any myself.

I know most people aren't big fans of firewire, but as a musician it's necessary because USB audio interfaces are normally inferior and prone to latency issues.

Why do I want a mini-ITX pro-audio rig? Because transporting my ATX studio rig around would be a massive pain in the ass. Especially considering transport would already be full of drums, guitars, etc.

After a quick search the only ITX board I've found with firewire is the Intel DH77DF.
Alternatively I did find this mini PCI-E card that gives you 3 firewire ports.
Some ITX boards have a normal PCI-E slot and a mini PCI-E slot so you could use that card and still have room for a full sized PCI-E card (I'm assuming you want to use a full sized PCI-E card otherwise you could just get a full sized firewire PCI-E card).
You would need to get an ITX case with at least 2 PCI-E slots on the back, unless the PCI-E card you want to use is dual slot then you'll obviously need a case with 3 slots.

I just checked out a review for the Intel board. Unfortunately not very good

Well assumed, I already have a full size pci-e firewire card, but I'd want to reserve it in a itx rig for GFX.

Will have a look into the mini pci-e idea!
