Middle Earth: Shadow of War will not require a constant internet connection

Yeah people just don't know how to read.

I'm excited for this game and cannot wait to bring in my nemesis from the last game and my best Ally, Thrakk The Champion.

It's really saddening that this is big news these days :( At least it's something positive.

It is saddening that others report false information and misinform people, a story on this would not be necessary if it wasn't reported elsewhere that the internet requirement was constant.

Same as the Need for Speed Payback Smoke controversy, a pile of nothing that people overly big up for clicks.

Yeah true.
About NFS: can you enlighten me about that? I've seen people ask questions about it (this pack) on Facebook more than usual, so what's the deal with it?

It is a unique car pack that those who pre-order the game will get, giving cars that are already available in the game but pre-modified and tuned. The cars also come with unique paint designs and special tyres that offer a coloured smoke effect.

The same cars will be available outside of the "platinum car pack", just not in the same pre-modified state and without the same cosmetic options.

Some places alleged that the game had a graphical "tyre smoke" option behind a pre-order paywall. Then make it seem like a slippery slope that other games would do the same in the future (IE, the game will look better if your pre-order). The truth is that is is an aesthetic change for a unique car pack and not a unique in-game graphical option.

Long story short is that people see "exclusive tyre smoke" on promotional material and do not properly look into it. It is not a unique graphical option, but an aesthetic change to a pre-order exclusive car pack.

I don't like pre-order exclusive content, but I do not like how mountains can be made out of molehills like this. Usual EA bashing for clicks.
