Microsoft's Largest Ever Update

I presume the updates are more fixes for security holes that have come up from the RTM being used by businesses and tech professionals. But may also, like Peter said, be the same update as the Vista ones due to it being based on the same kernel.

I'd wager a bunch of the fixes are aimed at putting a stop to the patching software that's been out for a fair while that makes u not require installation keys'n'stuff to be authorized.

Those keys that are out are probably blacklisted.

Security can often mean m$'s security.

U can buy it retail now can't u ?

Vista + Server 2008 = same kernel

Win 7 + Server 2008 R2 = same kernel

Anyone know if these were pumped out to XP? not had a chance to check WSUS.
