I don't know a single person who owns this. Everyone I've talked to says they'd rather spend a little more for a PC

I don't know anyone either, but ASUS claims that there is more demand than they expected. There is a lot of demand for a decent portable gaming device, and there are a lot of people with a lot of money. I am not one of those people, so I will not be one of the people buying this. I wish I had enough spare money to splash on something like this. Even then, if I did I would have more important things to spend it on.
We live in a strange world ATM. Things either need to be ultra-affordable or ultra-premium. I think that the fact that the ROG RTX 5090 Matrix sold out so quickly is a sign that the rich are eating very well.
With RAM being what it is, I don't see anyone I know upgrading their PCs anytime soon. There are some good GPU deals ATM, but they won't last. 2026 is going to be a challenging year for the PC gaming market.
