Not if it's Malware posting fake BSODs and the codes are used then to ransomware or link to external sites.

Again, that means it would have to bypass your anti virus software before that happens. At that point you are screwed anyways..

fake BSODs have been a thing for years. TBH all the data Windows 10 collects on you is more of a security hazard than a QR code.

Hardly collects data. They collect much less than FB/Google/etc. It's the least of your worries tbh in comparison. In addition just disable it if you must.
 
its a good idea but both the QR and Hex should be available just so you know its a genuine BSOD.
GUI's are dumbing down users, who really wants to click something when you could spend more time typing into a command prompt :p
