Microsoft reveals its Xbox Series X Console

The argument that you can get the same PC as powerful as a console for the same money will probably die next gen. I don't see anyone being able to build an 8 core Zen 2 with probably a RX5700 level of graphics for $600.

Oh and @Dice. I actually just the other day fully platinumed trophied GOW. What an amazing game. Seriously was one of my favorites this gen.

Wouldn't that force the cost of CPU/GPU down? Making the statement true again. Would be nice...

I wouldn't think so. By the time they launch I'm sure we will have more power in cheaper parts but at least for a while I'd think consoles would have that advantage. Though after a few years it's back to normal.

Regardless of this though. I like that the gap is closing more and more. Its not always about CPU and GPU. Considering storage capacity and read/write speeds ever improving resulting in a more seamless experience.

Yeah, adding an SSD to my PS4 had a big positive impact on my gaming!

I do wonder if they'll do a Dell style system and offer different specs at different price points to cater to all.

I played through GoW twice, Absolutely fantastic game and gorgeous visuals, Only thing I couldn't do was the Valkyrie Queen Sigrun, Got her to 1mm of health a fair few times but holy hell was it tough ^_^

I defeated her on my 7th try I think. I know my 2nd are 3rd run I got her down to the tiniest sliver of health but she got me.

Took like an hour. Definitely hard haha
That was on the normal difficulty at least. I don't care for hard difficulty single player games. I'd rather enjoy them.
