Micron launches their new 3D UFS SSDs for mobile phones and other portable devices, offering performance which is similar to existing SATA SSDs.

I think this is gonna get popular. Now we just have to wait for mass production and then mobile companies to get it into phones. I'd say next year??
I also think this is gonna be a a massive upgrade, like going from a HDD to a SSD. Because even with all these phones with 6+ cores and 2GB+ of memory, with SD cards I find basically all of them still lag at certain points because of loading times. Hopefully this would rectify this issue.
