Metro Last Light - Which ending did you get?

If you haven't finished Metro Last Light yet and don't want to know any more, THEN DON'T READ ANY FURTHER :p;) !

I've just finished Metro Last Light today, and I got the "bad" ending. Looked pretty good to me! I killed to many bad guys apparently...

There is a "moral point system" that if you are a good little stalker (sorry, wrong game), ranger, you get a different ending.

Another good reason to add it to my replay list.

Off topic, but how did you like this game? I tried to play the first one but got tired of the rationing of ammo. You've got 20 things to kill and only 18 bullets. That crap got old really fast. Is this more of the same or is there more of a "run and gun" bit to it?

I've read that it's a pretty heavy game. Every environment is depressing and you need to look at the bright side of it. I have a little self-test for you:
1. Do you believe in the good side of humanity?
A. No, of course not, something goes wrong and we all turn into beasts.
B. Yes! If we help each other we can get over anything!

2. You're walking on the streets alone. It's raining. How do you feel?
A. Wonderful! Finally a moment for myself!
B. Bad. I feel so alone! I wish I had a dog!

3. Your hometown is being nuked. What do you do?
A. I try to make the best of the current situation and we go on.
B. Oh dear! Do I have enough beans at home?

Answered A on all questions? Congratulations! You're ready for Metro: Last Light! (This self-test is from the Power Unlimited, a game magazine in the benelux.)

Overall I enjoyed the game, very atmospheric. It still has that bullets as currency element, but I only ran out of bullets once, and I shoot EVERYTHING!!

I always had enough coin to upgrade the weapons and buy more ammo. The only tricky part in a few areas was running out of filters for when roaming outside. Talking of outside, yes it's bleak but the weather effects are great, more so at certain stages.

The AI can be a bit dumb at times, and there wasn't enough to shoot at or good enough at the normal difficulty level, maybe I just picked my weapons well. It's a dark game, and using night vision just spoils the ambience imho, so I would turn it off unless I got in a tough spot.

I want to play it again, at the highest difficulty setting (there's a reg hack you can do to get it for free) but I also want to achieve the alternative ending, which means you can't kill any soldiers. THAT will be challenging in it's own right. Time to move on to something else though, and replay this another time.
