This is not a review, plenty of those out on the web and I don't want to spoil anything. I just got done beating the game in 9 hours on Original mode.
The game is GREAT! And without spoiling anything I was expecting more for the ending but I digress. The graphics a incredible and with dual 680s the most I have seen my GPU usage is 70%. Occasional frame problems exist which suggest drivers need to be made better particularly in regards to PhysX (I am using BETA drivers that were released with Metro).
I did make a previous post regarding PhysX and to be honest PhysX really was not implemented all that well. The only things that used it was seldom Fog and smoke, the occasional hanging cloth, and debris caused by weapons. Things that you would expect PhysX such as: water, random debris, flags, sparks, and even clothing have no PhysX effects.
The DX11 shadowing, lighting, and tessellation is incredible. I did run into a few shadow clippings. But you will find a lot of dynamic shadows, more so than Crysis 3. Even the chain link fence in most areas is tessellated with dynamic shadows.
Overall the graphics are amazing and the full female frontal nudity aint half bad either.
