Media Centre Motherboard Recommendation

Alas my CFX3200 board seems to have gone kaput and no longer works. Thatll teach me to swap watercooling pipes without being carefull.

SO now the hunt starts for a MATX motherboard that has firewire on there and a half decent chipset. Wont be watercooling this as watercooling a media centre just never seems to work for me lol.

The p6N looks a nice board or perhaps the 680i AM2 board are the ones that I have in mind, any suggestions from the good folks here.

Will be using an AM2 processor, wont be for nething more than TV watching and the odd spot of encoding but thats about it. Will be using Vista on there as well

THIS might actually be your best bet. I didn't realize that the Biostar didn't have FireWire and that you are wanting that. This MSI board has both HDMI and FireWire, and runs on the new AMD 690 chipset. Good price too, I'd keep ur eyes peeled for one of these.
