Max temps on 7950?

So, I've been having fun with overclocking my 7950.

What are the max temps I can run this at on furmark?

At the moment, with the fan on 100%, I'm getting 80, is that ok?

I know it'll be lower in gaming and stuff, but just interested

Yeh 80 C is fine. I think the limit is around 105 C for most GPU's, but you obviously don't want to OC the card to a point where it reaches that temp .

105 *c is way too high, 80 is fine but i'd keep it around that, any higher is pushing it. 7950s are 28nm they have can't handle as much heat as the larger chips.

don't use furmark (especially on an Overvolt). It pushes the card beyond its expected use limits and can damage it. Use unigine heavan for a stability test.

past 80 is the danger zone, but around that mark you'll be fine

I just said the limit is 105 C (well for older cards, but as Sieb said the limit would be lower for the 28nm gpus), I didn't say OC until you reach that point in temps . I would personally not want temps to exceed 85 with any card.
