Hi,

Wondering what the fsb holes for the Classified are? I've been trying to reach 4.0ghz on a 920 D0 and had some difficulty after 190 bclk. So I was curious what my highest bclk for my board and lowered multiplier to 12 to take cpu out of equation and also reduced memory multiplier to 2:6 belowed 1600 spec (which works at 160x10). Then in E-leet slowly upped the clock frequency 5 mhz at a time. Eventually I got a BSOD around 187 (Error 3B) right after hitting the apply button in E-leet. I even tried raising the qpi pll and other voltages in eleet a couple notches and still got the BSOD. I also turned off vdoop, set cpu vtt +200, impedence to less and middle, cpu + vtt freqencies to 490/900. I'll fill out a proper template in a bit but my main question is does the Classified have fsb holes?

Thanks

probs not no mate, fsb holes were nvid problems mainly. And they are not 'set' its just one of those things. What you are getting is just a bad clock. Either the cpu/mobo needs more tweaking or its just the best your gunna get.

First thing to try is cranking your CPU multiplier down to 19 and see how high you can get the bclk. Also, ALWAYS clock from bios, even if it takes more time.

Recommend you set the following voltages to their safe max:

vCore: 1.3750

vVTT: 1.3500

vDIMM: 1.65

Expensive motherboard doesn't always give you a high clock mate.

Been there done that...

So your saying that I could get different results by incrementally raising the bclk in bios vs in Eleet?

It worked!

Hey Monk,

Thanks for the tip! So far I'm almost 10 passes in linx at 20x200! Nail biting experience!

Seems like if you set high bclk in bios the bios sets latencies appropriately better than software oc tools...

Thanks.

Should never OC in software imho. Bios is where its at for me.

Glad it worked tho dude, I didnt notice you were doing it in windows.
