I have a matx case and it has a cit 200w matx power supply but i think its on its way out. Its smelling pretty bad so i am now looking for an other to replace it.

Are there any good rating matx psu's out there as i can only find value series on ebuyer and cit models?

Its needs to be 300-400w as its running a e1200 dual core, le7200 graphics, 3.5" hard-drive and cold cathode lights.

Cheers

There are good ones, but you may need to import them.

Unfortunately they're quite rare to find here and are pretty expensive. :(

Hmmm. I'd like some of them to be tested by Jim tbh, in his torture chamber.

There are 2 or 3 for sale @ ebuyer. None of them are from what we may regard as a "quality" manufacturer.

However, I got 2 suspects that were supplied with a range of htpc case, quoting 400w, and they ~seem~ to be ok. Not as if they're going to be pushed to any degree.

I do hear stories of "quality" manufacturers making some, but never see them.

Ok cheers rasta,

I jus need something reliable as 200w is ridiculous!

It came with the case so i cant complain.

Please keep me updated when stress tests arrive:D

cheers
