Matx Dragon Slayer Rig

Thanks, I initially jsut wanted to get going and get into the top 100 for the team but I quickly got sucked in. I am even considereing building another 2600K rig to do more SMP folding.

lol, same here mate. It's very addicting, but unlike heroin it's not bad for your health

. Well it could be if you're selling your kidneys and whatnot to buy a new rig

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am not totally satisfied with the system yet. I am having a problem with heat in the system with the current configuration. I am waiting for the next time I have some free time to reconfigure the system. I will have to remove the plexi glass and change the H2O to exhaust outside of the case. I may have to add a few more fans to the side panel as well. Seeing the way my 2600K performs I am very tempted to ditch the Q6600 and replace it with 2600K cpu and get a decent 1155 matx motherboard.

In the first pic you posted, i see you have no exhaust fan. You add a 120mm fan there and it should quite a lot of the heat build up inside, this way you could leave the H2O pulling in cold air from the outside

And i assume the roof fan is also exhaust as well?

Yes the roof fan is a 140mm exhausting. I have no rear fan because this case only supports a 92mm fan and I did not want the extra noise and I do not like the green/yellowish fans that came with the case. Now that I am folding on this all the time the noise is no longer an issue, I may need to find a black 92mm fan.
