Again with the git!

wasnt any colder this morning so i took it out and lapped it instead

lets see if that helps it anymore as 1.7v gets warm fast only air cooled xD

fyi it maxed out around 55c during 32m super pi which aint too shabby for an old blower ;D

well it drops to 1.66v but if the temps are ok then im happy to give it more juice, its better going out in a blaze of glory than being lost and forgotten in a draw or box somewhere

other than super pi and cpuz the 4300 aint done much yet but it will next week once i put it back in and tighten it all up

Superpi only uses one thread, so you can clock higher and bench it.

it's wprime loading all cores that brings up the temp.

1 issue i do have with the 4300 is my cpu socket sensor dies with it in but is fine now with the q9550 in and was fine before with a e2140 in, cores read ok but cpu reads as -86c lol i wish.

I may or may not have just been on a spending spree on 775 kit. SB for a few GPU benches would have cost way too much, and I can get much more points this way..... And! I can get my dice pot

That's the spirit =D

Your better off getting cheap kit and a pot than getting expensive hardware with air cooling.

i wanted to do that and then found out my mobo wont let me overvolt 775 pent 4s :|

i think its a wc loop for gpu next for me so it makes volt moding my cards a viable option as tbh i dont think the stock blowers will cope that well with it.

I had 3 hours of Windows issues this morning so never got chance to push it any higher for installing but I will get over 3.8ghz out of my 4300 or it will die trying xD

looks like stonecold is going to take 3rd before you moose as he got 5 or 6 478 cpu to play with today.
