Yeah even searching for it yields only number 2. Shame. Mafia I was awesome, it's the reason I'm now tempted by the second one.
 
Depends on what you had to do to install it. If they gave you a key to register that required internet connection it probs wouldn't work. Tbh it's not worth the hassle dude, I could probs poach a copy off eBay for a ouple of quid if I really wanted it. Cheers for the thought though dude :)

i did zilch mate all i did was click on download and it downloaded it through chrome then installed it with no serial or anything
 
Lol does that mean it just came as an installer package? Must have been pretty big though, I'm thinking probably a few GB at least. That's quite large to transfer and I don't like people to go to much effort on my part.
 
That's not TOO bad, but will still be effort to upload it somewhere, with upload speeds being what they are for most of us. Cheers anyways man.
 
Tell me about it man, I've got Sky at uni and at peak times speed drops to the point I can't even play CSS due to epic lag. May have a faster top speed than orange back home, but at least I get a CONSTANT 8Mb line there.
 
my download speeds never change its just the upload speed is slow but never seem to get any lag on it games play perfectly fine all the time
 
Aww maybe it's just Southampton then, literally drops to unplayable levels. But it's so cheap especially when we have Sky TV anyways.

yeah maybe its that i stay in dundee so its not too bad like 160k ppl and then how many ppl are on it but ur right mate £7.50 for unlimited net is awsome i just have one tiny gripe with sky is a seem to suffer now and again it just drops the connection for literally 20-30 secs and its up and away again but it messes with things like playin alien swarm yesterday and it went down in the middle of that
 
Got the original with the map. And you really do need the map. The only gripe I had about that game was the cars were too realistic. IE - bloody slow. And it doesn't help matters when they want you to drive from Hoboken to central Jersey (the farms) and it's about 40 miles and the cars only do about 25mph. And as soon as you get them downhill and actually moving the pigs are all over you.

Fantastic game other than that though. Canna wait for the sequel.
 
ahh man thats guttin,i might be able to get a naughty copy tho,but nah its worth it upload speeds are gash.

i love my sky internet but i guess thats becouse i get the full 20mb,well 20 to the router 17mb actual lol
 
It's a great game, well worth a play. I bought a hard copy new for a couple of quid a few years back, just about to reinstall for another playthrough.

You can pick it up very cheaply in the shops, just keep an eye open.
 
I just had a quick glance at both synopses, and they seem to be unrelated in that, the first is very much in the 1920's/30's looking at the very Capone style gangs where there were mass gunfights in the street etc. The new one is apparently based around the 1940's/50's post-WWII era instead. Reading up on it makes me want it even more tbh.
