Thought I'd start this thread as part of an ongoing survey to see how long people have had there R507 re-gas machs.
One of the concerns some people have is the life span of the machine if they get a re-gas - this thread will have testimonials attached to see if anyone has had any issues or in fact they are still going strong.
I had my unit re-gassed in February 2005, tuned to 210w heat removal and have to say it's been fantastic - when I am not benching and (room temps are around 26degrees Celsius) I can set fan speed to normal and the unit remains nice and cool (side panel touch is cool) and the room has the peaceful hum of an air cooled rig. Apart from actually buying my Mach this is the best thing I ever purchased (based on the fact I probs wont have to upgrade for a year or two yet
).
Benching clocks on FX55SD are 272*13 (Mach set 1500rpm front / 1800 rear) - non-benching I like to run either 250*13 or 268*12 (fan set normal).
So far so good for me - but please put your re-gas dates here so people can monitor our progress and make any re-gas decisions, based on facts not theories.
