Mach II ST problems

Hi all,

After a few hints, tips and most of all help!

Ive recently purchased this, and the seller shipped it on its side..... er is this not a good thing to do:confused:

Anyway, left it to settle and decided to have a little play - to make sure it worked.... NOTHING, eeek.

Tried it again and it started, green light flashing, first yellow on, waiting 3/4 mins and the temp on the head is still 17'C, then it shuts down with all the diodes off apart from the red one.

Tried connecting bits to my mobo like the PWR ON etc and tried again but still shut down, so I left it alone and came back to it today.

Tried turning it on and 'CHUG......CHUG.......CHUG.....CHUG' as the mach tried to start I pulled the plug cuz it didnt sound good at all but I did notice that all the lights were on at the back and still stalls when I reconnected it and still are now.

Please Ive got an X68 thats in desperate need to be frozen and an awesome rig lined up but Im stuggling here, does anyone know what to do or have had similar problems?

And any advice at all, about this would be great as Im a bit of a n00b when it comes to phase cooling (stick a TEC in front of me and Ill be fine.... but its just not cold enough! 8)).

Thanks in advance,

AI

Ok after reading the long version try making sure all the connections are connected to the control board if it keeps chuging as you say then it couls be a wiring fault if it runs but doesnt cool it will be a leak run it not connected to the mother board by shorting the power pins on the mach
