Mach II not recognised

Re-formatted my HD over the weekend and now the system won't recognise the Mach II. Installed 1.23 - won't run - "USB connection failed"

Harware manager shows the following:

Please help!!!

Ok uninstall the software.

Go back into device manager and double click on Mach II and click search for driver then click advanced and click specify a location..

Specify the location of the mach II.inf file which for me would be like this:

C:\Nventiv\Software123\mach II.inf

Then click next and it should install itself...

after that install the software again and it should all work.

If I uninstall the software how can I then point to a location such as C:\Nventiv\Software123\mach II.inf? The uninstall routine deletes the the installation directory and files.

Right...

if u right click WinDriver and tell it to uninstall it will do so without removing the software folder...

then do what i said with the mach II.inf file and then re-install the software again....

Nope - does not work "Cannot Install this Hardware" also the only inf file in that folder is the windrvr6.inf file

Brian, we need to find out if anyone else is running your mobo, XP SP2 and a Mach II.
