Mach II not recognised (bis)

Hey guys,

First post here but I've been around for a while looking around

Anyway : Yesterday I finished reinstalling my Mach IIGT unit but now I can't seem to connect it properly to my pc : windows doesn't recognise the unit.

Previously I had no trouble installing it on a DFI Ultra-D, but now on my new SLI-D I can't get it to work.

When I connect the unit to the usb-header I get an error message : "unknown device" which keeps blinking in my system tray.

When I look into the device manager I see an unknown device under the USB-controller menu. But no mentioning of a prometeia unit or anything.

I tried recombining the usb cables but to no avail.

Is my mach II controller broken ? Is there anything I can try ?

The second link you gave was helpful indeed, the first I already read !

I got it to work at last, but there seems to be a mixup with the wiring on my mainboard or with the wires from the unit : I use the combination "white-green-red-black" now and it works (it should be red-white-green-black but that doesn't work)
