Mach 2 GT temp display

I have heard that the Mach 2GT temperature displays are wildly inaccurate reporting -65c unloaded. I thought that my unit wasn't working properly reporting -40c but after testing it's only out by 3 or 4c. It Seems that not only are the new units shipping with better fans (Panaflo) but also an accurate temperature sensor. Now if they could only wire a USB cable properly. :$

I think the confusion was in earlier models, ECT thought it was all pre-caliobrated from the vendor - seems that was not the case and now they do it.

You are right it's not entirely accurate but better than it was - although the colder you get the more inaccurate the readings are (example - an R507 regassed unit displays temp colder than they are).
