mac vs. windows over time

I run 3 Hackintosh Pro's and a Hackbook and they're are 100% trouble free IF, IFFFF, you do your research. Mine all perform better than an 'off the shelf' Mac of equivalent spec' and/or pricing because I can overclock, use better components and tweak to a far higher degree than on a real Mac.

Plus I can natively boot back into 7 (or XP, 'nix or whatever) when I need to game or Fold.

Easy Squeezy Peas.

Haha I'm PMing you when I put together my i7 rig.. On my third or 4th 775 hackintosh now because I use Logic daily and my powerbook G4 just can't handle it. I've heard that i7 is quite different to Core2 when it comes to OSX86. Any tips?

I've owned several Windows Machines & Macs over the years, Mac OS X does slow down depending on how clean you keep it, Windows also slows down overtime, Windows 7 in my expierence doesn't seem to slow down any where near what XP & Vista used to. Both are great platforms and have their uses, I like my macs for my main machines, keep the pc for gaming and Windows only apps.
