Hey Ive got thousands of M4A files that I need to convert,

does anyone know of an automate converter I can just set loose on my machine, because putting them all in manualy is going to take me months!

I dont want to have to manualy add all the files mate. Itunes puts each track about 5 folders deep. I need a converter I can say "everything in that folder" too and it just goes in and converts and replaces them with mp3's automatically

# Fast encoding, decoding, conversion from 28 audio and video file formats to any of 19 audio formats.

# Automatically transfers Track, Album, Artist, Genre etc. from original file to converted file.

# Batch convert multiple formats to one single format.

# Set a single conversion folder, or convert to the same folder as the original file or the program can automatically create mirror folders, useful if you are converting many folders in bulk and keeps your files organised.

# Search and add files from sub folders automatically.

As and yey shall recieve.

Cuz I can't post link here, you can try the m4a converter placed on my signature, it supports batch conversion and works really nice

Another little trick is to simply burn all of your iTunes music to CD's and rip them as .mp3 from Windows Media Player. Might take up quite a few CD's to do it, but it works.

iTunes also offers you the ability to convert all your music to .mp3 now... unfortunately it costs $0.60 per song though. :\

Why make people pay to convert music you have already purchased. I don't see how iTunes has made it so big, who would pay 60pence to save a file in a certain format. For that I would use my programming knowledge to make an application for it. Not too hard either.
