I don't really like the lay out the rad in the roof will be pulling hot air from the GPU.
Speaking of the GPU is it just me or is it sagging?
As James said, I'm not a fan. They should've made it a tad bigger.
It just lacks intake for the video cards, especially when you want to run SLI it's just going to be a hot box.
Also, why is that ODD bay still even there? You can't use it when you have a rad in the roof, you can't use it when you have fans in the roof, you can't use it when you're running SLI, you can't use it if you have another decently sized expansion card (e.d sound card)...
You can't use 3.5" drives if you want bottom intake, which is the only proper intake location in this case. The cover for the 2.5" drives will render any case window useless as you can't look into your rig. Maybe that's a good thing though, as cable management is going to be an absolute nightmare.
I just can't help but feel that they've created to much compromise to keep the original size of the case.
Could you not (against the norm) intake from the top, directly into the gpu ?
One more thing - Not liking how visible that mains power cable will be running under the case...
ARGH! 3 clicks to view a larger f***ing picture, that s*it infuriates me. Sorry web-dev head on, don't like his thumbnail -> click ->load ->small image ->click ->new page loads async takes ages -> big image...
Has he never heard of bloody lightbox.
As a Mac Pro owner, that's actually quite a handy place to chuck the curled up cable believe it or not. You barely notice it (unless of course, desk)
Aye, fair point... Where else would you put it though that's the issue.
Unless you mounted it to the bottom of the case so the cable came out the bottom + provided an angled cable to fit it ? *shrug*
Do not want :-(. They should have had the PSU mount behind the motherboard tray to keep the interior space more free-flowing and kept room for proper intake at the front of the chassis as well as the top and rear. At least that way you could have still gotten in some decent watercooling kit. I'd gladly have accepted a slightly wider profile JUST for that.
