M.2 drive compatibility ?

Hello all i was curious if a m.2 drive would be compatible with my motherboard without causing any issues. I was considering purchasing the "Samsung SM951" or the "950 pro" however im unsure it would work. Thanks in advance

The motherboard supports SATA M.2 speeds up to 10Gb/s so the SM951 or 950 Pro would be a waste of money on that board. You'd be better off with an 850 Evo 2.5" SSD on a regular SATA3 connector as you'd get just as much speed but more capacity for your money.

Look for motherboards with PCIE3.0 x4 M.2 speeds to take advantage of the 950 or SM951.
