Loud Single Beep on Start Up

Hey all,

Does anyone know why the rig would make a single loud beep on start up?

The PC boots fine and everything runs as it should, and I can see nothing wrong in the BIOS. I just don't know why it has started to make that single beep?

almost all motherboards will make a short beep sound on start up via the internal speaker . All this means is that the motherboard has successfully posted (passed the quick tests). on some motherboards it can be disabled.

that bleep "to me" is there to tell you when you can start hammering delete to get in to the bios or f8 to get to a windows command prompt. because for some dumb reason your dvi monitor dosent even display an image untill your 90% in to windows lol.

Is fan fail warning enabled in your bios. In gigabyte mobos if you enabled it you will hear a long beep until all off the fans are spin up to a minimal required rpm (mainly 300rpm) . I don't know if its the situation but maybe worth to check it. :)

A single beep at boot up is the system telling you that it has successfully achieved its POST status, nothing to worry yourself over.
