Hello, need some help planning my new loop. I have replaced by XSPC 240 740 res/pump with a laing ddc pro 10w pump and a EK Laing DDC X-RES 140 Reservoir Pump Top.
Im trying to work out where the best position for the pump/res to be:
This is how it is at the moment:

And this is a stripped out pic of the colossus which gives a better idea of the space in the case

My options that i have though of are:
1: Mount it in the drivebay area/ switch the radiator the other way round so the inlet/outlet are at the back of the case to provide more room for the pump/res
2: Put a black acrylic "shelf" going over the psu and connecting the hard drive bays and mounting the pump/res on that. Leave the rad where it is.
3. Remove my fan at the base of the case and mount the pump/res down there.
4. Remove the bottom couple of drive bays and mount it there
What is the best position for the pump/res at the top off the loop or bottom, and where would be the best place for a drain port?would this be all i need to create a drain port (http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/Koolance-14-Thread-Drain-Valve--VLV-XTSPLB-pid-12834.html)
What do you think?
Thanks Tony
