Looking at a 22" monitor which one?

From what ive seen samsung will be slightly better. But LG still make fine screens.

IMO you'd be happy with either, but go for the samsung if you can stretch the extra (all £20 of it...).

You'r profile says your using a 19"?

Go for the monitor. People spend hundreds and hundreds on the best PCs around, then skimp on the thing that lets you enjoy that hardware to its fullest.

Large, quality monitors really do own.

I would go for the 226bw. Looks more sexier. But looking at the specs of each monitor, there exactly the same lol

Hey Pat, i have used BOTH of these monitors. I liked the samsung cuz it looks a little better IMO, but that was the one that had backlight bleeding and ghosting in games. I returend it and got another, even worse of each.

So i went and got the LG , im using it right now for 5+ months, AMAZING Monitor. Might not look as godlike, but it is pretty damn nice. It doesnt come with a DVI cable though :(

oh now thats a hard choice, you cant go wrong with either tbh as ppl have already said. Personally id chose the LG just because I have an LG now and its never let me down.

Im thinking ill go for the monitor, and get the iPod next month when its released. :) And for the monitor i think ill go for the samsung seems to be getting all good reviews.

I guess you STILL dont listen to what im saying..

i have used both monitors. i have had 2 samsungs, i got them for the same reason as you, they look amazing. but the performance sucks, i read the reviews too and they arnt accurate. ghosting/backlight bleeding. none of that with that LG

BTW get the 22"

Lol, hmm.. but that many people cant be wrong darkorb?

I have the little brother of the LG and its great yeh, i think i might go for it actually, its alot cheaper lol. :)

Problem with the samsungs seems to be who made them. Apparently there are different models, some are high quality, and some are low quality with back light bleed ghosting etc... its a gamble on which one you get.

Im probably going with another brand, they don't seem to have that problem.

If you're in a good mood hehe.

For just £240 you can get taht amazing 24inch screen with 1920x1200 1000:1 400cd/m2 , which is pretty high spec TBH, good reviews too.

Only drawback is that it uses VGA, but seriously I use VGA/DVI both atm, and there is absolutely 0% difference between them lol, not even in FPS or anything. Id get one if it wasn't for my card that may hold my performance back on it, on the upside with that, ya wouldn't need AA.

Every single review sais it has been fine. I think its the low price becuse it doesnt have any DVI ports, doesnt that also mean it doesnt have any digital stuff r something, not sure but Ill try to find out for you.

If I can find the extra cash Id defiantly get this screen. Just got wait 2more months tog et my contract money repaid to me.
