Longest VGA lead ?

What is the longest a VGA lead can be used before the signal starts degrading ? I can only really see 25ft leads available - is that the longest ?

Wow 25 feet is a long freakin' way... You could probably find a signal booster then daisy chain 25 footers.

have used a 75 foot one at work, but cable was about inch and a half thick. worked just fine. that was the longest cable we could buy at the time, i think any longer than that and you need to use some sort of DA.

I'm considering powering my HDTV in my living room from my PC in my study until I get my HTPC set up...

I've got my music setup in a cupboard on 3x5m cables, works great.

I picked up an Adder KVM on ebay which seems to boost the signal nicely. I think with their top model and a psu you can plant your tower a couple of blocks away...

Ebay is your friend, these retail at 1-200 quid, mine was £8!
