Logitech Z-10

Hi,

I'm looking to get a pair of speakers for my rig. They dont need to be all singing and dancing as i'll have it hooked up to my hi-fi for music/dvds, but i need a small pair for using when gaming. The Logitechs look quite appealing and would like a second opinion. Also considering Harmon Kardon soundsticks (II?) but not really bothered about having a sub. Thoughts welcome.

The soundsticks are mega expensive.

I would suggest the logitech Z-2300? A good set of speakers and the price isnt TOO high lol..

harmon kardon soundsticks are amazing for the money

they look the business, and they sound great!

Hmm.. My dad has them and personally they lack the Low tones that i love when im gaming. Like when a bomb goes off. lol.

If you fancy stretching.. The Z-5500 are amazing, i own a set and wow.

You can get the soundsticks II for £99.95 delivered and the z-2300 is circa £89+delivery so not much difference. Harman's look a damn sight better as well i reckon! £100 is the budget.

Z-5500 is 5.1 which is overkill for me. Rig is in the living room so need something understated. Has anyone used the Z-10's??

Aye well, get them then. You cant beat them for looks, but the Z-2300 are a good set of speakers, though the sub is HUGE so i wouldnt call them understated..

Personlly i have never used to Z-10's Sorry.

Sound. Looks like the Harmans are going to be added to the shopping list. Cheers for the advice guys. Last chance for any comments on the Z-10's....

Well, the Z-10's seem to have good reviews. However they seem best suited to music as opposed to gaming? And if you have hi-fi speakers for music then the harmans seem to be the best option imo.

Yeah, and they have a blue glow which will match my rig nicely.
