I've got an Abit Fatality FP-IN9

When using that guide from earlier, I found out what all the words meant and cross referenced it with my bios first.

I hope that you weren't suggesting he copy their overclock settings. :nono:

If you want to learn how to do it properly, there is a long, but very good guide over here.

No, but that whole forum post was about HIS board, which I do not know anything about. The best shot he is going to have is reading about others who have been successful with that board.

Edit : thought I'd seen that somewhere before, here

damn thats long >< isnt there a quicker way to do it by chance... ?

Yes there is a quicker way, but you will learn...sweet fany adams about overclocking. There is also the risk of frying boards, chips and modules.

For the sake of cutting time.....

Everytime someone asks about oc'ing a certain cpu/mb, the answers (other than basic oc help) can sound a bit harsh, but as Freak says, your best learning it all for yourself - for your setup and finding your own sweet spots. Just get the basics into your head and then try small changes, you can always reset the cmos to factory settings, just don't go too far until you are pretty sure you know what you're doing.

well tomorrow im gettin my water cooling kit so thats goin to be fun as it gets :D

my only down fall with the P5Q pro is the south and the northbrigde are connected by a heat pipe ¬_¬ so i will need a small fan

Depends how you like your eggs lol, not absolutely necessary but it well help reduce the temps, usually on the NB. Hows the airflow in the case ?

Print off the guides and read them with your bios window open, it helps to familirize yourself before touching anything.
