Liquid options for Stacker 935

Hi folks.

I've posted elsewhere (PSU section) this morning as I've been debugging a new build.

i7-4770K
Asus Maximus VI Formula
4x 4GB Kingston @ 2400
2x Asus GTX 780 Ti DC2OC
3x SSD (1x Corsair, 2x Samsung)
1x 1TB platter
1x Blu-Ray

Turns out one of the new GPU's isn't happy. So while I wait for it to be replaced, I still have to think about the rest of the build, and what needs done to finish it off.

At the moment, the only case fan on the stacker, is the 140mm at the rear, with the current CPU cooler carrying 2 more 140mm fans (BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 2).

Now the obvious addition would be a couple of fans on the front. So far so good, but the question becomes what liquid route to go - if, indeed, at all.

4 options spring to mind.

1: 140mm radiator (or AIO) to sit with the 140mm fan on the rear (and then mounting 2/3 fans in the roof of the case to pull hot air generated by the pair of Asus GTX 780 DC2OC's)

2: 240mm radiator in the roof, (it would need to be a thinner option, with thinner fans, but there's a few options out there)

3: front mount the radiator? (though I'm inclined to think that's an awful idea, because there's no where else it can realistically pull fresh air in from)

4: Mount the 915R on top (it's currently mounted below with the PSU, platter and optical) and fit 240mm radiators to the sides and plumb up the CPU with the motherboard. Ideally mounting them forwards, to keep them clear of the PSU - but putting the PSU into the base of the 935 is also an option, which would allow for 360mm radiators instead - but I think that's an awful lot of overkill for a non OC'd PC that's not looping in the GPU's.

Note: The aim of the game here is very low noise, but capable power. I won't be heavily OC'ing the CPU.

I have to admit, there's a 120mm AIO that appeals to me, the Zalman one, if only because of the looks - but from all I've read, the opinions on it seem to be fairly divided. But with the design of the 935, it can be fitted.

At the moment it's suitably quiet, but I'm worried that the load temps are higher than I'm comfy with. At idle it's around 30>32C range - at load I'm seeing the CPU getting up to 68/69C and the GPU's peaking at 83C!

Thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions?

And if I had a whole lot more spare cash right now? I totally would...

However, having just dropped about 1900 on this re-build, that's pretty much my spare blown for the next 6 months or so (and replacing all kit for the GPU's etc isn't going to be a cheap project).

I can justify about another 100/150 on some heat dissipation - but that's about it at the moment.

Hence the options listed.

Having spent more time today reading and thinking - I'm mostly leaning towards 4 AF (2 front, 2 top) and a 140mm AIO for the rear.
 
Right -sussed out a rough plan, but hoping to get some advice from you good folks.

The 935 has a pair of holes above the 140mm rear grill.

Plan:

Mount 140mm thick radiator externally, plumb through to mobo and CPU - fit pump/reservoir combo in 5.25" bays.

Mount 4x AF fans (2 top, 2 front) for additional air flow.

Potential kit list:

Hardware Labs Black Ice Nemesis Radiator GTX 140
XSPC X2O 750 Dual Bayres/Pump (Black) V4
(XSPC G1/4" Plug with 10k Sensor to fit in the spare on the X20)
XSPC RayStorm CPU WaterBlock (Intel)


What I really need now is advice on:

* Tubing (black case, black and red asus kit, blue lighting, leaning towards clear tubing and white fluid)
* Fittings
* Plumbing configuration


As for the last, I'm working on the premise that I want to go from reservoir to CPU, from CPU to motherboard, from motherboard to radiator, then back to the reservoir?

As before, any advice will be gratefully received.
