Liquid Cooling an RV-02

(Beware long post incoming)

Hey, I'm new to the site but have been lurking for a bit. I'm thinking about putting WC in my case (Silverstone RV02) and maybe modding the case a little bit. I was trying to look for mods on here and I found a few but most just contained dead pictures, so inspiration is welcome

I haven't done WC before (Other than fitting a H100 for my friend, which hardly counts) so any advice is welcome, I already have a trip radiator but I'm not sure if it has a build of of corrosion in it so I may end up getting a new one anyway.

Build info is as follows:

Asus Crosshair IV

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T

12GB ram

2 x ATi 4890 (One Asus, One XFX)

1x 64GB Crucial M4

4x 1tb HDD

Here's a pic of how the case currently looks:

Actually found this mod here:

Think I will start ordering WC parts when I get paid at the end of the month. Any recommendations on what Pump to get?/ anything else as I'm new to WC. I'm going to try and maintain a White & Black theme through the case.

I will definitely be moving the HDD block (drilling out the rivets) or getting some 5.25 to 3.5 adapters as I don't use the 5.25" cages anyway.

Any Recommendations on fans to replace the stock AP 180's with? (I was thinking of these: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/180m...hite-quiet-case-fan-with-fan-speed-controller )Gonna be used on a 3x180 magicool slim rad ( http://www.aquatuning.co.uk/product_info.php/info/p12895_Magicool-Radiator-Triple-180.html )and maybe a 1x120 Magicool slim rad ( http://www.aquatuning.co.uk/product_info.php/info/p1710_MagiCool-SLIM-SINGLE-120-Radiator.html )up the top with two 120 fans running in push pull (Overkill on rads or do you think that would help with temps?)

I've drawn up a couple of diagrams in paint for the WC setup (Yaaaay paint)

This is a lazy setup using a Resevoir/Pump combo that fits in the drive bay similar to:

http://picturepush.com/public/6858100

Running from Pump/Res > Rad > Cpu > GPUx2 > Pump/Res

As with the above image I think I'd get a similar flowmeter setup (Just to break up the long tube)

This is the second setup I came up with: (I prefer the aesthetics of this and avoiding the long tube)

This runs from Pump > Rad > Cpu > GPU x2 > Resevoir > Pump

Is this all correct? For the reservoir in the second one I;m ideally looking at using some thing like this: http://www.aquatuning.co.uk/product...cks-EK-Multioption-RES-X2---250-Advanced.html Which can be orientated Horizontally

For the GPUs (I know you'll hate me for this) I want to use just GPU block coolers rather than full block coolers as I will be upgrading my GFX cards not too soon from now

Now to counteract the fact of using a GPU Cover and not an FB I actually found This: http://www.aquatuning.co.uk/product_info.php/info/p594_Alphacool-MCX-5x-divider.html

Which I think would be a bitch to setup initially but might help somewhat? Opinions?

For the actual GPU block I was looking at Using: http://www.aquatuning.co.uk/product...K-VGA-Supreme-HF-Bridge-Edition---Acetal.html

Along with: http://www.aquatuning.co.uk/product...EK-Water-Blocks-EK-FC-Bridge-DUAL-Serial.html

I'm looking to using white 1/2 tubing and black bitspower fittings, so if anyone could link me to the correct fittings to convert parts to take 1/2, etc that would be a huge help

My budget is around £500 ~ £600

Thanks in advance guys, any opinions or advice is welcome

Well, that's what I did in my FT-02:

I was lucky in that I already had AP-181s in there. I went with a Laing D5 vario (rebranded by DazMode here in Canada) and a swiftech microres. My mATX mobo allowed me to put the pump & res where I put them, but I could have used a bay reservoir.

Two things:

If you're after silence, you'll want to isolate your pump from the rest of your computer -- since I took that photo I've put my pump on a block of memory foam, and it's made a lot of difference, even on the "2" setting.

The way I have it setup, I had to cut the "bumps" that are at the bottom of the FT-02, below the filter holders. I think other people putting 180 mm rads in these cases have used the supplied rad brackets to offset their rad from the floor of the case, so they don't have to cut the bumps out.
