Yup, spent some money at Ikea in order to upgrade from the kitchen chairs and hand-me-down desks. After a number of hours, a number of beers and a few choice swear-words, my new work area is up and running.

The little keyboard lamp coming out of my Corsair K60 is from Poundland and illuminates the keys just right when gaming with the lights off :D

My monitor is stood on a TC Electronics Impact Twin which I use for recording. Looking out for some decent monitors soon but the Blue Auras are fine for listening to music when I haven't got the NAD Viso headphones in.

Looking good man! I take it the second setup is someone elses?

Thanks RadeonHDx =00=

Yeah, that's my girlfriend's little monitor - although she's now using my old rig that's in a huge Antec case under the desk which is still more than she needs.

I'm planning to build her a new machine using the new Corsair Graphite 380t when it's available. Something small enough to get on her side of the desk as well as being nice to look at.

I'm also considering a new monitor so, when I take the plunge, she'll get my Philips display.

Neat setup mate! :) Great incidence of light too: by that I mean that you can fill the room with light when you raise the blinds, but you can also make the room completely dark when you lower them. That's a good thing ;)

Thanks man.

Yeah, I enjoy being able to look out at trees when I'm blogging, writing or jamming along to some tunes. Having a green outlook is such a rarity in London that it would be daft to shut it out all the time.

I am thinking about getting some proper black-out blinds but these do quite a good job for now.
