I personally think it will just cause some pointless arguements and at the end of the day, rep/karma means very little (or am I the only one thinking that?).

I honestly think the forums are fine the way they are right now

tends to cause ego trips in my experience and/or karma fights, and just having a plus button doesn't really give it much point. If you like a thread, there is a rating system at the top of the OP

I think it's good to upvote a suggestion or a potential fix instead of quoting a +1. Easier when looking through old threads for an answer but ego tripping is also valid reason to not have one.

It might not have happened before but it happens everywhere else I've seen it, then it becomes a competition to see who can have the highest karma. We all have egos lol, lets not panda to em and make it worse, I think a thread rating system is plenty for now
