Lian-Li question

Hey spiritd, whats up?

I looked at the 2 cases and I like the 7B better

1- cheaper

2- 2 120mm fans(better than the 80mm ones)

3- The metal is cut out at the center of the rear fan (much better than the 65b)

4- Front holes will flow better than the tiny holes of the 65B

5- Wont hold as many HDDs but cool for 1 or 2(uses the 120mm to cool them)

6- Did I mention CHEAPER?

The only thing I liked about the 65B was the removeable mobo tray and the window.

But I would MUCH rather have the better cooling of the 7B

Hmm, that's a VERY good point. Thank you for posting that. I didn't realize that the 65 didn't have 120mm. Hmm so that'd make the 65B noisier too. I will have to think about that now. I was looking for a Lian-Li with a side panel window and below $125. Any suggestions for me?

LOL, you make it sound like "a modder" is a bad thing.

For one of my my first mods I used one of these (they are chromed in color) and dont need much modding

And this is the one I won my first mod contest with (Ultra Aluminus), for the money (at the time $29)there were none better.

Sorry! Modders own. But I was looking at a Lian-Li I enjoy the clean look and the build quality they offer. THanks for your suggestions!

Reps for you! :]

The PC-7 does have some nice features. The only one that I wish would have carried over to the PC-65 would be the rear 120mm fan, or at least the addition of a second 80mm fan on the back somewhere. The dual front 80's work great however, tiz the same setup on the PC-75 which I used to have and can vouch for the amount of air those 2 fans push from up front. The PC-65 also comes with the top exhaust fan which the PC-7 does not. And of course the two biggest selling points would be the removable mobo tray and the included side window.

Also, the front fans are on a fan controller right?

@Mark: you already earned them buddy, thanks.

Another good point to the PC-65 series is there seem to be options for them, like different windows and stuff

Here is a bunch of LianLi stuff on 1 page

http://www.xoxide.com/lianli.html

the pc65 is probably the most used lili case in existence due to its modability and functionality. great mid size case.
