Im needing a new case as i hate the inside of a 900, basically cant get mobo in/out unless you remove ALL sata hd's and cables, and once mobo is in, its impossible to get the sata cable into the mobo, as they are on teh side :cussing:

I was thinking of the A71, how is the case to powder coat? ive seen a 360 rad in the roof, is this easy?

Anyone got any good pics of this case?

Powdercoat you rip it all down, takes a while to prep it all with screws and removing everything ect. Rad in the roof is ok but you will loose the top 2 drive bays no matter what, and you have to be carefull where you cut ect.

I prefer the a70 over the a71, as the a71 has reduced front airflow because of the door.

Is an ok case though dude, give me a shout if you need a hand with it, do these in my sleep tbh.

Once you've stripped all the noise dampening foam off it, it's essentially the same as the A70 so it's pretty easy to strip down and coat.

Reaches for pictures in a counter attack LOL

As you can see by Marcus's photos there isnt much to it once its all stripped back.

Edit, went the other way and grabbed some white pics :D

Haha ladies ladies, lets not get carried away, yeh i think it would be red and black with redwing fans.

Can you mod the front bezel of the a70 so its flat?

The A70, it would be possible yes matey, would require some steady hands though, I changed the front of Hell Fire and Arora if you look at the threads in my forum?

why not in the 2*120mm HHd fans?

Rads dont bolt up directly, can be bodged, but thats not what Im about.

I make custom brackets for my a70's with front rads, look at Arora.

Also by putting a rad there its very close to the power and reset switches, alot of rads dont fit.

Oh god, get ready to shred your fingers removing the Akasa sound absorbing material. Odly enough I had the exact same case and problem:
