in the end of the day its a nicely shaped piece of metal, probably costing them less than £20 to make

why do we all fall sucker to the case?

materials alone would cost more than 20 quid on these drives

but then you have to factor in design costs staff costs tool costs etc. etc.

and i for one gladly pay premium for lian-li cases because they're not just PC components, they're beautiful components designed not just around what will go inside them, but what will be outside them; my lian-li really fits into my room and doesn't look out of place at all, unlike 99% of PC cases

that is for me to know and keep secret :)

i mean, you take into account all those things for a single case, but we are talking mass produced. maybe not £20 but they sure as hell are making 400% profit
