I still think the Josnbo N1 or V10 and V11 are the nicest looking cases for ITX. Of course its all personal preference but still... They are some sweet designs

Jonsbo have consistently made amazing looking cases. Their designers really deserve a lot of credit. they're not always practical, but sometimes they come up with both a practical and beautiful case. I love my current Jonsbo case. It's discontinued now, like a lot of their cases, but it's great. When I bought it, they used the new Cooltek.
It's quite possible that they had a large part to do with the design. IE, what will work and what won't.
Lian Li would not "copy" anything. The fact is it probably took a lot more money to make and set up the machines and tooling to make the cases, which they may not have made back by the amount sold. So it's perfectly reasonable for that to be in the contract.
It's not lazy. It is about money. Maybe watch a few of GN's factory tour videos where it explains just how expensive the set up and tooling and machining is.
This is why most of these "smaller volume" ITX cases can cost up to £500 for something you could buy in materials for about a tenner. It's not the materials that cost the money.
I would strongly, STRONGLY doubt there is any ripping off going on here, so maybe you are just being a bit cynical?
It's others who rip off Lian Li, not the other way around.
