.. ofc imo u shouldn't have unsupervised internet access b4 the age of 16 (complying with stupid laws that say u can get married with permission and/or join the army, even if not front line)

U can drive a killing machine @ 17, but can't kill urself with alcohol legally.

17 ? probably u should know about the mental aptitude of them, having known them for 17 years. If they're staying with friends, do u check that they actually are @ 17 ? U could ofc be moved out and in college at that age.

General awareness of "the dangers" should be told to everyone. But I have found that age restrictions are meaningless. You can say that you have to be 18 to drink alcohol but that will not stop those who want it badly. Same again with the internet. It's the same concept except the internet rule would be defied more.

How many parents would actually well and truly be bothered to sit behind their children and watcht their every move? It is the next step to George Orwell's book becoming a reality.

In my opinion I would say that parents should be the ones who have the power. If parents feel their children are mature enough to play 18 rated, murder-filled, games then they should allow them. In actual fact parents are already doing that.

I hope they don't listen to you. I'm already being screwed over! I was happy when I turned 15 knowing I can buy 15 rate BBFC games then I found out that BBFC are no longer giviing age ratings to games.

Yes of course we'll just all go err... Drawing? Oh no wait we could draw something violent. Playing outside? We could get hurt or start annoying someone, making him/her violent.
