Less strain on your GPU - Corsair launches a 180-degree 12VHPWR GPU Power Bridge

Does it act as an tiny parabola and/or tiny wireless charger for like an Apple watch as well?

Idk a ton about electrics, but wouldn't using a higher grade wire solve part of the issue, like a more robust grade that is able to carry more watts than is actually needed ? then maybe it wouldn't heat up like the core of the planet and melt the system.

A bigger gauge wire would solve the adapters from catching fire from carrying to much current(assuming that was the issue), however, if the issue is the connection carrying the load from GPU to connector then it wouldn't solve anything. The initial contact is the issue at hand.

Problem with all these adapters is that if your GPU has a slightly recessed 12VHPWR socket then they do not fit!
A major design flaw in my opinion......

hmm well then that adaptor could well still have issues as even when gamers nexus was doing there testing the temps went well beyond 105C.

Idk the exact issue as i wouldn't think that the contact pins alone would be the sense issue being the whole problem, just feel that the condensed connector has too much heat in a small space which is why my thinking with a higher grade more insulated wire might at least help for the most part.

I do however see that it needs to be solved ready for next gen or they should just go back to the more trusted and less prone 8pins that we have used for so many years.
